This ride gave me a run for my money! I heard it was short, so it ended up being longer than I originally thought, so that was good. The first half of the ride I though, "hey this is cool. Kind of wild, not really fast, but fun." and then we hit the big drop midway through the ride, and I was completely shocked. It went from fun to insanity in a heartbeat! The second half of the ride was so much more wild and intense than I had thought it would be. All I could say when I got off the ride was, "holy cow!" Yes, it's short, yes it's rough, but I think it is everything a good woodie should be. Long live the Raven!!

This was my absolute favorite coaster here, and one of my favorite wooden coasters of all time! I thought for sure, after riding Voyage, that this coaster would not meet expectations, but boy was I wrong! It had great airtime, amazing speed, unexpected elements, and i for some reason, didn't find it rough at all! This is everything a wooden coaster should be!!!!

Some people may say that the Raven is overated, by argue and say that it is not. It lives up to its hype, people just cant believe that a relatively small coaster, can pack such a punch and can be so popular amongst coaster enthusiasts. Yeah, its not big, its not extremely fast, but hell its fun and thats what matters most. Not to just us enthusiasts, but to kids, family and so on; this ride is great for anyone. Perhaps that is why it beloved, and spoken of so much.

This coaster is like the exact same as Grizzly at PKD to me. I like and dislike the same things about them, the forces are comparable, and they're both only "great" at night. Both are tied for #10 on my list.

Ok rode The Raven in 2007 really a rough coaster. Rode it two days ago and MUCH smoother! Good job Holiday World. This trip Legend was also much smoother yet the Voyage actually got worse it's like they traded roughness.
