Said to be the best themed ride period. It looks amazing. I would love to ride it.

The UK's most famous coaster. And it debatably deserves it's celebrity-status. Nemesis is more than just a roller coaster. It's a peice of artwork, carefully crafted into it's surroundings like no other in the world. When it was designed and built, it was one of the first B&M inverted coasters and somethign completely different to anything the UK market had ever seen. When Alton Towers dicided they needed a new big thrill, they where faced with height restriction difficulties that prevented them from bulding above the heigh of the trees. With their existing Thunderlooper causing problems with locals who claimed the rides 'destoyed the landscape,' John Wardley teamed up with Alton Towers to create something that remains today a unique masterpeice and the perfect combination of everything that, to me, makes a coaster exceptional; An extensive theme which is so detailed that the rides theme music containes a 20 minute audio story of the terrifying monster restrained under the 250 tones of steel that make up the bone like track. A completely unique and brillient layout which provides constant suprises and the neverending feel of acceleration. Insainly tight turns and inversions, which leave you petrified of loosing a limb on the passing scenery... And every other minute detail gone into making Nemesis one of the most awesome rides on the planet. Those who are unfazed by it's extraudinary theme and the effot gone into it's design may leave feeling although somthing is missing. Do not be fooled. Nemesis is not as intense as many claim. If you like extreme natural acceleration, then you will be left gorping at how a coaster who's loop bearly stretched a metre above ground level, and with such a small lifthill can gain this much speed. If you like tight turns and suprising inversions, unique layouts and of course, theming, you will love Nemesis. But respect it for what it is... It's not the worlds most intense ride experiance, as the queue-line board warns. Black Mamber appears to be intruding most of what makes Nemesis so special, but they are different enough to leave Nemesis as unique as it always has been and probably always will be... I love this coaster.

Nemesis is amazing. For once I found a coaster that wasnt all hype. Nemesis was everything everyone said it was. Such a great ride. Only wish I could have rode it in the dark,
