Montu is an incredible ride, and is easily one of my favorite steel coasters. The tunnels and trenches give the otherwise fantastic track layout an added sense of thrill.

When I went on Montu they were killing the ride at the MCBR it almost seemed as if the train wasnt going to make it around vert loop #2...

One of the better inverted rides out there. Not quite as good as Kumba, but still a great ride. I *LOVE* the trenches. I could easily ride this thing ten times.

This rides has alot of trenches which makes the experience more fun. This was my third inverted coaster I have been on and is the best. The other ones I have been on was dueling dragions (second) and the one at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Awesome ride, the only other B&M invert I rode before this was BTR @ SFStl and SFGAm. I expected this to be just as crappy but man was I shocked. The loop in the backseat pull-out is insane. The immelman in the front is awesome. Great footchopper. Awesome batwing with the trench and gs in the back. Too bad the MCBR nearly killed the end, the felt negative gs in the loop, not good.

This thing was INSANE back in the late 90's before they trimmed it to death. After all the trimming, Montu is still a good ride, but Kumba is better.

Before trims:
Montu>Alpie
Montu>Raptor

After Trims:
Alpie>Montu
Raptor>Montu

I think that this was a great ride. It's theming and trenches that are there are great too, but i still liked Kumba better. But, i do have one important thing to say. Thank you B & M for making such smooth rides.

It's been almost 8 years since I last rode this coaster and I must say it is still absolutely awesome. It is by far still my all time favorite inverter. I love the element of surprise that it offers around every corner. Unlike Alpie, it does not use its speed to make it a better ride. It uses the terrain. For this to be an 11 year old inverter, it still runs like glass. And it actually still looks brand new too. I see BG has taken real good care of it over the years. I recommend this ride for everyone. You surely won't be disappointed.
