The best ride to be ridden at night. If you don't ride this when you go to PKI, then you just wasted the whole day.

A classic. Even the Helix is unmached in my opinion.

Best wooden coaster on the planet, especially at night.

This is right up there with Millennium Force in terms of overrated coasters. Half of the time you spend on this ride is on a brake run or lift hill. If you want to ride a REAL out of control, non-stop, relentless twister, try Legend at Holiday World or Twister at Knoebel's.

The best ride at night. The front is great and the woods make it so much fun. The Beast is my favorite wooden coaster.

I dont care what you all think about this ride! IT ROCKS! I've ridden it about 30 times and to me it changes all the time. The hill before the inclosed Helix's is slanted and not very deep so it seems to last forever.

A+++

I wanna ride this so bad. People complain about dinns, but they are almost always wrong.

The Beast now reigns alone at the very bottom of my list, mainly for making me endure pain AND tedium for a record length of time. I found it boring when new. Now it also hurts and shuffles like a 95 year old poker dealer. When it opened, I dubbed it the world’s longest mine ride (with the exception of the Mauch Chunk Railroad). Now it’s at the very top of my “N.A.” (NEVER AGAIN!) list, barring some MAJOR reworking. It’s a shame that its offspring (S.O.B.) basically carries the same traits into the next generation… long… boring… ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz, ho hum, OUCH!

A pretty good woodie, but not as good as some of the creations of the past 10 years. A solid 3, with a bit more due to the "grandfather" clause.

The beast... Or sould I say... TRIM : THE RIDE!

I hated it back in 99.. But now.. With the new mag trims it sucks even more...

You know something is wrong when the ride goes from 4mins long.. to 4.30.....

It's a good fun wooden coaster but very far from great in my opinion. There is nothing, NOTHING that makes this coaster a great one. It has length but what else? There really wasn't that much air on it and it just shakes a lot. Personally I think most people who say it's great are just saying because others do and they're worried they would be committing some sin or that it would make them less of an enthusiast to say it was anything less than great.

There might not be any airtime on this coaster, and they might have added brakes where it wasn't needed, but this is by far the best wood coaster out there. The whole concept of a runaway train out in the woods is just incredible. Night rides rule!

Great ride at night! Lots of fun with great air on the first drop. The shallow drop seems to go on forever and hold on at the bottom of it! It jerks you to the side as you enter the helix! 5/5
