A great ride. I found it smooth throughout and the combination of the elements is perfect.

As far as B&M sitdown coasters go, this one is second only to the Incredible Hulk, but now that I think about it there are only 4 or 5 B&M sitdown coasters. For being one of the first to be installed it is a great ride with plenty of transition time between elements, thus giving time to appreciate the coaster for what it has.

It's a fun ride but I didn't like it that much.

Awesome ride, truely underrated. Most fun you'll EVER have sitting down. Much better than Montu.

Kumba is really the coaster that put B&M "on the map" even if it wasnt the first coaster they did.. It was the first BIG looping coaster.... first to have BIG LOOPs.. Zero-G roll on a sit down.. a big cobraroll.... yeah if it wasnt for Kumba we might not have all the beemas we have now.

Better than Montu by far. But for some reason, Montu gets more recognition. Anyway, truly one of the best rides out there, which is pretty amazing considering that it is an older coaster. This is the best of the three "must-rides" (Montu, Kumba, Gwazi, Sheikra will soon be added to this list).

I ridden this coaster at least 15 times, and it still makes an impression every time I ride it.

I liked Kumba but I thought Montu was a better ride.

Kumba pulls better G's then Montu, not to mention the rolls are much more fun. But then again how do you compare a floorless with a seated coaster.

The best looping coaster in the world, with the Hulk in #2, and Wild Fire in #3.

One of the best B&M's ever. Introduced many new elements. I think this deserves to be a top ten coaster! It is in my top ten coaster list!

Extraordinary design that is unparalleled even today. Kumba's a little rougher than most of the B&Ms but it is just awesome. I liked Montu a little better but Kumba still is one of the best coasters I've ever ridden, and definitely the best designed coaster I've seen, all the elements were perfectly placed!

When I rode this coaster 8 years ago, I absolutely loved it. But when I was at BGA recently, I did not like Kumba at all. It was really rough to say the least. I kind of figured it might be rough too. The coaster didnt look very well maintained. The upstop and guide wheels were very rusted as was the track itself. I was a bit surprised, because this is really out of character for Busch Gardens. I hope they give this coaster some TLC, because it used to be an awesome ride and deserves better treatment.
