I found this ride fun. And since their is never a line, it pays out everytime.

One time you ride it and you feel fine after and during..The next you feel like puking all over the ride. The only time you get dizzy on the ride is after the two verticals in a row.

What a really intense ride! It gives me a thrill everytime I ride it. It provides a nice view of the park and has been a signature ride upon entering the park for over 15 years.
Keep your body relaxed going with the ride, following the center spine. The best elements for me are the drop, the first loop and the corkscrews at the end. It is not as well-themed as The Lockness Monster and I only recommend this coaster to enthusiasts who have mastered the craft of riding a steel looping coaster.

In the front of the train the ride is very fun and SMOOTH! I only got bannged once on it.. and that was going into the corkscrew.. But i still took 10+ laps on it...

Its rough but NO lines, rode it 4 times and didn't even have to get off the train!

This is not one of my fav rollercoasters in the park at all cuz numba 1 it sounds like its gonna break,number 2 its not fast 2 me cuz its old,numba 3 when u go under the loops u feel like u gonna get stuck cuz it takes 4eva 2 get outta them.Then people say this is a great ride but superman gets bad comments oh no this ride sucks

Horrible! There wasn't one second after the first drop where my head was banging against the restraints! New Name: Great American PAIN Machine. I am never going on this again! I kept my head back and centered and sat in the front row (James said that is smooth) and it still felt like i was getting my head bitten off.
Edit: I went on it again and kept my head back.. it was much smoother!

I liked the layout and thought it was a cool concept. Rough and it gave me a headache.

OWWWW THIS IS SO F-ING PAINFUL! My neck was in so much pain after I got off. Never going on it again.

Some people say this is rough, but I dissagree, it had 1 or 2 rough spots but overall it was a very enjoyable ride.

Coaster_holic had the same experience I did with this ride. It's a little rough in a spot or two, but overall it's very fun. Not as rough as Magnum at CP in my opinion.

I don't understand why people say this ride is rough... I had a history of thinking rides were MUCH better than people said they were (Boomerangs, pretty much all at CW, Hydra, Hercules, Great Bear, Mantis, etc.) and this was no exception. I heard it was a complete headache fest. When I went there during my Marching Band trip last October, all my friends said it was great. (Only got on this, B:TR, and S:UF - we only had a few hours, so I'm going this august with a gold flashpass) I was still skeptical, but I knew my history with underrated rides, and again, I thought it was really good. In my top ten, no. But probably my top 20. (I've been on 105 roller coasters so far - I should get to roughly 120 by the end of 2009.) I sat in the middle because we had only an hour or so left before we had to leave, and there was no headbanging at all. (I think I kept my head back, maybe that's why everyone says these rides are rough... because they don't keep their head back.) It was actually pretty fast and quite intense - most notably the sustained vertical G's from loops two and three being right after each other so the G's wouldn't "level out" and the airtime going into the MCBR. There was also some really nice hang time in the Batwing. FAR better than everyone says it is. World class? Not quite. But still a very fun and enjoyable ride. We rode it three times in a row because of the short lines.
