I love the helixes that bury themselves into the terrain. Pretty cool coaster.

Before the park opened in 1973, Carowinds had to get "promo" pictures for their rides and attractions, including Goldrusher...but all the cars for the train weren't there yet, so they had to run the coaster with just the very first train and take pictures with people in it. Thought that was pretty cool.

Carolina Goldrusher is a great kid coaster and has nice helixes and such, along with a decently thrilling underground stint at the end. However, it will bore thrill-seekers. I remember how this used to be the only ride I would ride, so it's a great starter coaster.
