A remarkable ride that everyone MUST make a trip to see. This is the real deal. Just what Knott's needed when it was built.

I didn't know it existed until I got to Knott's. I was ashamed of myself for not looking on the Website. It's my 2nd favorite wooden roller coaster.

This is by far my favorite wooden coaster. Yes The Beast is a stellar ride, but it's a classic and well, you just don't categorize it at all with anything else. With that said, Ghostrider is at the top of my list. Not to mention for it to be a woodie, it is awfully smooth. I recommend this coaster to everyone.

A powerful example of what every wooden rollercoaster should be like. The ride does become more rattly and violent after a long period of operation without rehab, but it is the perfect combination of head-choppers, lateral G's, airtime, butterfly-in-your-stomach plunges and feeling of constant acceleration.

This is the best wooden coaster I have ever been on. And it's even better at night.

I love how there is a cover on the first drop, I think that would be a fun feature.

My favorite coaster ever. Ridiculous amounts of airtime, speed that doesn't let up, and it's smooth enough (for a woodie) to NOT give you back issues afterwards (*cough* Grizzly, *cough* Cyclone)

This is my number one favorite woodie! This ride really blew me away. I did not expect the second drop to feel very big, but it took my stomach very hard! The laterals on this ride are terrific. I actually got tired from trying to hold my head straight in the helix. The track is pretty long, and the trains keep a remarkable pace throughout the entire ride. Truly an awesome ride. I really did not think that a simple L shaped double out and back layout would be so twisted and completely JAM PACKED with wicked action.

Ghostrider is a very unique rollercoaster, I love the trains, but needs a better more piazzaz since it opened almost eight years ago. But really a cool roller coaster. (laughs, again..)

I have to admit, this was a pretty sweet coaster when I went on it in May '06, but it was really rough in the front. I felt sorry for the people riding in the back of the train. Overall, I would rate this the second best wood coaster I have been on.

I still stick by my guns and say that this is quite possibly the greatest wooden coaster ever built. The ride is thrilling and maintains its speed throughout. Also, a very long coaster considering how little space it takes up. All in all, a stellar woodie.
