This crazy ride was my favorite as a kid. Riding the Fiddler's Fling at SFGAm this summer reminded me how fun this high-g ride is. It can best be described as a scrambler on steroids (thanks SFGAM World.)
The ride was designed to look Caribbean much like most of the original versions. The rotating arms rotated in the opposite direction of the high speed disk. In its first season this Mack ride was located between Sky Way and Flying Wave (where the Mr. Softee ice cream truck once parked.) It was moved back into Neptune's Kingdom in 1975 in a spot which now houses remote controlled boats.
