Unlike most coasters, Superman ESCAPE starts off with a tire driven dark ride portion before finishing with the airtime laden coaster finale.
As the story goes your taking a ride on the MTR (Metropolis Rapid Transit) as you and 19 other Passengers bored the train you hear warnings of tremors being reported.
As you make your way to the next station the tremors increase causing many special effects along the way and ultimately to be saved by Superman lunching riders from 0-62 in 2 seconds. What follows is a short but very fun twisted course of track going up and over curving hills and into mist filled tunnels.
I found the themeing much more then I expected having been accustomed to Six Flags parks all my life. The actual coaster portion is too short, but that doesn't stop it from tossing you out of your seat a few times and giving some great thrills.
