Ok. WOW! AWESOME! INSANE! INCREDIBLE! Every adjective I can think of!
I got on ET three times today, and I must say, it is absolutely amazing. It is so intense. Not just intense, but INTENSE, if you know what I mean. They really sytaple you in, but that is not a problem. I have never been stapled as much I was on ET, But I still got the best airtime I have ever had. I don't understand it. I rode the back row the first time. Fourth train out for the day(with guests). You move slowly to the lift, but that quickly changes.
The train does ont stop at the bottom of the lift. It starts off slow, and then BAM. Your off. It flies up the lift. You can really feel the speed of it. You get to the top of the lift, and you are in heaven.
The drop. Umm.... Yea....The drop. Easily the most intense part of any roller coaster I have ever been on. It rivals KK's launch but I can't compare them. It feels straight down. It is so fast. There is so much airtime, even from the middle of the train. Ejector. Lots of ejector. It is hard to focus on the drop because it is so intense. It is amazing.
The next two hills. Um...Yea... The next two hills. (see a pattern?) WOW. The train does not lose any speed at all. The airtime is better than any other coaster I have ever been on. Better than S:ROS SFNE. Better than MF. As I said, I was stapled beyond belief. I still managed to be completely 100% out of the seat at the top of every hill. My entire body just went flying upwards. The only thing touching the train was the top of my thieghs. Amazing airtime. And it is sustained for a good two to three seconds. Wow.
The turnarouns was smooth as glass. I did not remeber it after the first ride though. It just got lost in the ride. It is really fun though. Some strong Positive G's at the bottom. The next few hills are really nice with a lot of floater air.
Crossover. Um...yea....well....uh....crossover. The airtime on this drop is so intense that, well, I just don't know. It is unexplainable. Litteraly. I am at a loss for words. It is just amazing. Somuch airtime. So much. Ejector.
The ending. The twister section is a lot of fun. It is taken very fast at the beginning but slows downs towards the end. It is very dissorienting. It is very smooth. Very smooth. It really was awesome.
This is a one of a kind ride. Top three right now. I think it may be my number one coaster. It is so intense.
The middle of the train is as good as the back. It is as intense believe it or not.
ET is a must ride coaster. Go. Ride it now.
I am still thinking of a rating for it, but as of now, ET ranks as a 9.5/10.

Are you kidding me! It doesn't go up the hill fast. I thought ET was only good. Nitro is a LOT better.

Yea you do go up the lift hill fast. It starts out slow then speeds up then you go around the bend still going fast then you go into that steep steep steep drop. THE BEST AIRTIME out of any coaster I have ever ridden. Its not the best ride in the park. Nitro is way better, but I think El Toro is better than KK (just because its longer).

This is one incredible roller coaster. The two best parts is the lift and the drop. You don't creep up the lift hill like most coasters. Oh no you have NO time to second guess your decision. El Toro uses the elevator lift system like MF and you are at the top in no time at all. It whips you around that corner quickly and you are headed right into that very steep drop. I loved this ride. By far one of my top 3 favorite wooden coasters. The saddest part about this ride is that it is smoother than a lot of steel coasters. This was probably one of the smoothest wooden coasters I ever been on before. You dont get jerked around or anything. There is only one down side to this coaster.. the restraints. You WILL get ratcheted down hard in the station before you leave it. All I can say is that guys it hurts in an area it shouldnt.lol But the ride is so smooth you dont have to worry about it hurting again at all. Incredible coaster, everyone ride it as soon as you get the chance. You wont be disappointed.

The ride is designed by Intamin, they are known for Steel coasters, not wooden ones. this is only like their 5th EVER wooden coaster out of nearly 100 steel ones. I love the ride really one of the BEST in the park!!!

Hey megalink92
yuo only saying that nitrop is better because it is longer yeah it might be faster longer and better but stell coaster are a new age unlike wooden. wooden roller coasters are what made roller coasters be here today and i think that wooden are a lot better then stell but i like riding them both

I do not know how anyone can even compare El Toro's airtime to superman @ SFNE. having ridden both this past week, El Toro makes a lot of coasters, including the likes of Nitro's, Supermans,Apollo's Chariot, etc in the dust. It was the most ejector air you will get anywhere. I got so much that on both my rides, my back couln't recover from the 3rd hill right away, I just flopped foward. You don't lose any speed going on the hills, leaving the best airtime around. (That's including the fact that I had never been more stapled in my life). Easily passed Nitro as my favorite coaster. Did I mention that the lift hill seems to literally go up 3 times faster then Rolling Thunder's? Also, the first drop was among my favorite drops. Intamin should be proud of this coaster. 10/10

El Toro is by far the best coaster at GAdv... As well as one of the best wood coasters I have been on (been on 89 of them :D )
Its also MUCH better then Balder is. The first drop in the very last seat was amazing. As well as the low turns by RT.

This is the best wooden coaster I have rode, it was a priviledge to ride and experience something that is likely that best wooden coaster in the world. I was surprised by how smooth it was and how fast it went up the chain lift; which by the way was very fast. Long live El Toro, hopefully next year it will be number one by amusement today, it certainly deserves it.

This ride is amazing! It was a great reward for the pain of just having Rolling Thunder as the sole woodie in the park for about 26 years. The hills will eject you out of your seat. The very quick turns of the twister section really emulates the swift movements of a bull. O-lay!

It will ride like Rolling Thunder in years to come thanks to Great Adventure. Chiller is closed again.

El TORO is an awesome ride dont get me wrong. In Fact i loved it. Its intense! its fast and exciting. However it was a very rough ride. My friend banged her arm on the side of the seat and got a huge bruise that lasted 2 weeks. It was probably the roughest (not in a good way) roller coaster i have ever been on. I still gave it 4/5 just because its so awesome but definitely be careful.

^jmsjamz12, Im not sure what you would consider a rough ride, but El Toro is farrrrrrrrrrrrrr from it. If you think El Toro is rough, you wouldnt of liked Viper (SFGAdv) before it. El Toro does not run like glass, but it is pretty close to it. And for a woodie, I think it is unmatched in smoothness. Im thinking maybe your friend possibly sat wrong or didnt secure their arms properly, because Im far fetched to say El Toro is even close to being the roughest coaster out there.
