More About This Ride
Ride Restrictions:
Minimum height restriction:   40 in.

Features:
Picture, if you will, the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel. But if you think you know what happens, think again. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ is now random - the experience is horrifyingly new, and your fear is completely unpredictable because now the Tower is in control. Your elevator will shoot you up, and it will plummet down...what is going to happen? When? How many times? Only the Tower knows. Fear has always had many faces. Now you can come meet them one at a time.

Additional Information: Guests should be in good health and free from motion sickness, back or neck problems, heart problems, and other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride. This attraction is transfer accessible.

History:
In 2003, Tower of Terror was equipped with a computerized program that chooses between four random drop profiles, so some stays at the Hotel will be different than others.

Great theming, story, and a great drop combine to make this one of the best attractions in Florida.

Just a dumb question, has anyone taken a picture of the "ghosts" on the 2nd floor?

This ride is so overated. What is so great about it? There is like no intensity to it, and the drop is prolly slower than the elevators in the empire state building. Completely un thrilling. Only good part of this ride is the theming.

I love this ride. It has such great themeing and the random drop sequence feature is a major plus. I rode it three times and each time was different and fun.

Such an amazing story! I can't tell you how many times i've watched the movie and how much I just love the atmosphere that goes with this ride. However, i found the ride itself to have gone downhill since the beginning of it's life. The lap bars were SOO much better for feeling the airtime, for gosh sakes BRING BACK THE OLD SEATS!!! As for the multi-drop programming, it's nice and all but I prefer the old dropping sequence...the original one. For someone who doesn't go to Disney World often at all, I don't want to wait three seperate times and never get a complete drop in. By bringing this ride back to it's glory days, this could quite possibly be the greatest designs disney has ever made!!

This was an awesome ride. It had great theming and a great story. Probably one of the great rides at Walt Disney World. But I wish the drops were longer.

I rode this with my mother-in-law so it was double terrifying. Even though I'd heard a lot about it and had high expectations, I was still blown away.

This was actually the first drop tower I ever rode. Now having a few others to compare it to, this one is the best by far!!

I think this is a good ride. The theming makes it even better. Although it is no King's Dominion Drop Tower, it is still one of my favorites in the US. I recommend everyone take a ride on it when at DW.
