Developed for Valleyfair!'s sister park Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA for the 2004 season. Ride concept was brought to the Minnesota park for the 2005 season.

This should be a VERRRRY interesting ride this season.
Don't forget, RipTide is a 'water ride' for those hot summer days, so if you're looking for a place to cool down or get wet, head on over. It has been convienently located behind The WAVE, replacing the Trabant from the 2004 season.
Trabant has been moved to an area near Looping Starship and the Stadium Grill and Pizza, and aptly returned to its original name: "Wheel of Fortune".
If anyone is looking for an EXCELLENT thrill and enjoys being spun around, then RIPTIDE is for you!
