Definitely a classic and an industry adored and acknowledge in wood coaster design and achievement. Colossus was probably (along with Revolution) the first "famous," most recognized rollercoaster in the nation/world back in the day when the internet and other methods of communication limited the word of mouth phenomenon. Even though it no longer operates like the glorified ride it used to be, it is still is a remarkable ride considering its age and all the reprofiling/changes it has been through.

All hale the white wooden wonder!! The ride is gorgeous, but is pretty tame as far as thrills go. The larger drops are pretty nice, but that darn midcourse...
