Features:
The attraction begins with a short presentation on how special effects are created in movies, using visitors to demostrate. After that, visitors take a ride on a subway car to experience some of the special effects. The car stops and an earthquake registering 8.3 on the Richter Scale begins, causing a finale full of explosions, flooding, and total destruction.
History:
Earthquake was one of the original rides of Universal Studios Florida. It operated until late in the 2007 before it was close to make way for Disaster!.

I like this ride.. .the preshow stuff is lame.. but when you get to ride the subway its fun.

If you havn't been on this, it's pretty cool. Also getting picked for the stunts and stuff is neat. I really only like one of the three preshows, and that's seeing the miniatures used in the movie Earthquake, that is just amazing. The actual ride part is fun too, but if you get scared easy of don't like fire or water, don't sit on the sides.

I, surprisingly, wasn't really a big fan of this one. The pre-shows were interesting for a first timer, but i thought the ride part was a rather dull version of Catastrophe Canyon at Disney. It didn't do much for me, but still not a bad ride.
