These Doom Towers, which propel subjects upward like a rocket and then drops them straight down, are part of Doctor Doom’s menacing plan to overtake the Fantastic Four by sucking the fear right out of his victims to use in his power.

This ride is horrible. Don't waste your time. It's very boring. About the only thing it's good for is getting a panoramic view of the park. It's not even like a thrill. It's like, We're up...now we're down. Up again...down. Lame.

It was really good, definately the best S&S tower......IMO. The themeing is really cool, and it has some really good air at the top.

/\ Agree exactly. It might not be too thrilling, but it is very fun and the air at the top is surperd. The view is good, and the theming is excellent!

This is one of the worst S&S towers I've been on... the line is funner than the ride itself.

The worst S&S tower ever.

After riding Dominator at DP I thought yay they have an S&S tower. Boy was I let down. This is the lamest excuse of an S&S tower ride. Dominator and Power Tower are ten times better.

DEJA-VU RULES and slnewbus, of course Power Tower is better than DR DOOM because, first of all, they have both the space shot and turbo drop and secondly, they're both over 100' higher than DR DOOM, my home park has a higher tower ride than IOA does (but it's only by 3') and it's a combo ride (they blast u up then down then up again and then slowly take u 2 the top and drop u 185-190' straight down.) that in my opinion is the best S&S Power ride i've been on so far. but in'08 i'm taking a trip 2 Florida 2 get my coaster credits up ('cause frankly they really suck) i've only been on 34 coasters in my entire life, and i've seen kids that r 10 that have more coaster credits than i do. but i'm staying away from CP till i lose the weight, if i get down 2 a 38" waist, i'll be happy.

I havent been on a tower ride like this one before, I have just only been on the ones where you slowly climb to the top and drop. I liked this ride and was so scared to get on it but I did and I had fun.....I just wish it had been a taller tower for a bigger thrill!

This was a HUGE disappointment for me. The ride shoots you up, then drops you back down slowly. Thats IT!! And when you're shot up, it isn't even that intense at all. The wait in line, like someone said, was definitely more interesting. By far the worst drop tower I ever been on before.
