This is a great ride with excellent theming and landscape. The Borg sphere is overwhelming. Great ride ops too! Smooth as glass! Couldn't be better! :)

The best flyer i have been on to date. The themeing is just awsome and the placement of the ride just amazes me. This is a must ride for any Carowinds visitor no matter the wait time. The views of the park are just wonderfull going up the lift. I was also very suprised about how smooth the ride was since every Vekome i have been on has just be way rough.

I was pleasantly surprised by this ride.

I recently went to Paramount's Carowinds for the first time. I was expecting the theming around this ride to be much like that of X-Flight where it just sat on top of mud. But to my surprise the ride was well themed. The Borg sphere was an excellent touch and really helped to give the ride an extra bit of excitement.

Although much of the ride was the same as its counter parts X-Flight and Batwing it did however differ at the end of the ride. Instead of two inline twists and a helix Borg has two corkscrews. Although Borg’s finish is not quite as intense it is in my opinion a much better way to end the ride.

Overall this is a good ride.

The borg spear is a great addition. Theming is great. When I rode this ride, the shoulder harness just snaps, and I for about 30 (till we went inverted from the lift hill) I really did not feel like it was going to hold.

This was my first Flying machine I went on, but is my second favoite. Superman Ultimate Flight in Six Flags over Georgia is my favorite.

What a great ride, even though we did end up having to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for it, and my girlfriend passed out. But in the end, the ride ops let us ride up front, and it truly feels like you are flying, wow!

The layout is awesome, the loop is intense, and the effect of the landscaping and theming is great. You look at Borg and can't believe it was shipped there in the last two years! It fits into Paramount Plaza perfectly.

A Vekoma that's smooth as glass...I'm there!

I don't really care for Star Trek, or whatever the theme of this is, but it seems like a very cool ride. I want to ride a flyer so bad I can taste it...

I went on this coaster when it was Stealth back at Paramount's Great America and I can say that it looks a lot better at Carowinds as Borg Assimilator. Sure, the name is a little weird sounding, but the thematic elements placed around the ride and just the overall appearance of the coaster and its surroundings are beautiful. I like how there's large bodies of water beneath the coaster -- I can only imagine how much that enhances the experience.

I hate Star Trek but this theming is EXCEPTIONAL!!! You just walk near it and hear "Resistance is futile". I think when I was on the lift hill i heard it say "Too late now" and "No turning back". The top restraint is really scary because its just a snap on vest but you forget about it once you turn over. I always have my hands in "flying pasition".

This ride fits into the park so well that it looks like it was always meant to be there. The theming is fantastic, and the problems the ride faced as Stealth at PGA have been rectified thanks to Carowinds' phenominal maintenance crew. Excellent layout, too - the loop still blows my mind.

Borg was my first flying coaster and it was everything I expected. It had a short line at the end of the day and provided a great ride. I would highly recommend riding Borg if you go to Carowinds.
