The part before the first drop is cool, with the evil face spitting water. Then the doors open and you plubnge down the drop. Once you have slowed, you see people on the path above you pointing and getting out wallets. Then you are hit.

There are pay-to-blast (pardon the dumb phrase) water guns on the path above that shoot pretty sizable streams of water at passengers for about 50 cents. I believe there are also non-aimable cannons, too, but I can't seem to remember.

Then you go up another lift and it gets very dark. Suddenly you fly down a twisted coaster-track drop in the dark. Then there is light and the station.

Note: its been a while since I was last on this one, but this is my best recollection.

It is a very fun ride if you don't mind getting wet.

A very awesome ride, the coaster part at the end is surprising.

I went on j2a the year it opend... and then in 2003. it was sad to see what didnt work anymore and what was tamed down.
the ride was a lot wetter when it was new.. and had a lot more 'stunts'

This is considered a coaster, since platium passports members can "ride again" on it. This is very well themed with a good intergration of both a water ride and a roller coaster.

This is a great coaster. The drop is nice before the coaster section and the coaster section takes most people by surprise. Overall 9/10

I LOVE this ride! If you sit in the front, you get completly soaked! What suprised me most was the coaster section, it gives a slight head chopper effect and a feeling like you're going to fall out. IMO, out of the 3 Journey to Atlantis', this one is themed the best! 5/5! (actually 4.5/5)

i have to agree with "sfne stinks". I went on the ride when it opened and have only rode it again last year. To my dissapointment, the ride has lost much of its luster and has been tamed down severely.
