It's not very big, but I like it regardless.

Even though this is what I considered a "filler" ride for Six Flags New England, I still must get a ride on Batman every trip I take there. This is the only B&M floorless I have been on and I think it's a really fun ride.

Great speed through the ride. You tend to lose track of where you are if you don't know the layout well. Very disorienting and the best Zero-G Camelback I have ever experienced

I love Batman at SFNE. It has one of the coolest layouts, and a mix of inversions that are fun and intense. It is just the right size to deliver a good rush. Get a Qbot when you go the park. This ride can have long lines, and the Qbot gets you to the station for a walk on. NO LINES!!!

I don't know what you guys are talking about, this ride isn't that great when compared to Medusa.

Batman is a great ride. Its compact layout makes this a fun ride. Also, the ride is very quick-paced, which I like. This ride falls short of my personal top ten list, but it's still a "must ride" when you visit this park.

Short ride, but its a nice addition to the park too. Granted its not the best floorless out there, but it isnt a disappointment like Hydra is. I was a little surprised at some rough points on this ride, especially the manuever between the interlocking loops, because B&M isnt known for rough coasters at all. The zero G roll is done on glass. I swear I thought I was in an easy chair while going through it because it was done so smoothly. Overall the ride is respectable, not the best, but certainly not the worst. Top 3 east coast floorless coaster in my book. Kraken and Medusa still beats it out :).

It's small but still a fun ride. The seats are comfy and the ride is smooth except for the corkscrews. Nice compact layout, great air on the drop and zero-g-roll. You also get a lot of g-force on the loop pullouts.

Superheros need a sidekick. Batman and Robin is one such example. Batman generally can accomplish many things on his own, but occassionally Robin needs to bail him out or provide something that Batman lacks. Even if Batman is succeeding, it's still nice to have a sidekick like Robin.
In terms of Six Flags New England, Superman is the big kahuna. It has height, massive air, accolades, intensity, and pretty much anything that a coaster enthusiast could want, except for one thing- inversions. But Superman doesn't have to worry, that's what Batman is for.
I can't help but applaud B&M for cramming this coaster in such a small plot of land. I don't know why people always complain about the ride being too small or short. It's supposed to be since there was such a limited space to work with.
The experience begins with a good queue line that is shaded and complete with misters and profiles on Batman heros and villains. Generally Batman has a 20-30 minute wait. Despite running two trains, the line moves very slowly since stacking is way too common thanks to extremely slow dispatches combined with a pretty short ride. I personally think a single rider line should be implemented since there often are many empty seats each ride.
Upon bording the ride, you are assigned a seat by the attendant. Unfortunately, you can't really wait for a particular seat unless you have Flash Passes or if the attendant is in a good mood and allows you too. The front is my favorite seat thanks to the view, but every seat pretty much gives an identical ride to each other. As usual Batman sports B&M's ultra smooth trains.
Once dispatched, Batman ascends a very steep lift. After reaching the summit, Batman takes a steep dive off to the left that's both graceful and intense, especially in the back. Following that is an impressive vertical loop with some decent forces at the bottom and a very good dive loop that is extremely disorienting. I personally found the following turn a tad dull, but the following zero-G roll made up for it and then some. That zero-G roll is just taken so smoothly and slowly that the hang-time experienced is just incredible.
Following that heavenly zero-G roll, the ride still keeps its relentless pacing, rushing through B&M's signature interlocking corkscrews. Now I know many people dislike them citing roughness, but I personally find them to be decent. Sure there's one little moment of headbanging, but the forces make up for it. After the second and final corkscrew, Batman speeds to a stop.
There's no doubt Batman is a good coaster and a worthy addition to SFNE's coaster lineup. It certainly serves as a sidekick to the almighty Superman. That being said, Batman still is a coaster that's certainly short, but sweet. Thanks to the quick pacing and good inversions, Batman is well-worth riding and a good coaster despite being a "sidekick".
Overall Rating: 8 out of 10
