It's a pretty uncomfortable experience. It's fun and all, but the bumpiness takes away from the "flying" experience it's supposed to deliver. B&M's flyers are exceptionally better.

I didn't think it was terrible, but I didn't think it was great either. I like these better than the B&M flyers though. But then again, I'm just not a big fan of flyers in general. It was a good experience on the first two rides, then it just got boring.

I didn't like X-Flight very much when I rode it during the summer of 2002. It's pretty much the same thing as Stealth at Paramont's Great America (now BORG Assimilator at Carowinds), which was the first Flying coaster I've ridden back in 2000. Except X-Flight has inline twists (instead of corkscrews) and a helix.

The harnesses and seats are not comfortable and the trains shook around too much during the ride, which detracted from my enjoyment of the experience.

As for the ride itself, I thought the coaster spent too much time having riders on their backs during the ride which was not very thrilling or fun. The only two parts that stood out was the vertical loop and flip-over right after the lift-hill, but that's still not enough to make up for the rest of the ride, which is subpar at best.

As you'd imagine it was definitely not worth the horrendous wait in the queue which moved so slow because the ride takes forever to load and unload. If given the opportunity to ride it again, I think I'd pass it up unless it meant I board it immediately and not have to wait more than half a minute. I don't think I'd enjoy Batwing either, considering its the exact same ride as X-Flight.

But to be fair, X-Flight and Stealth have some very intense moments and any beginner or amateur coaster enthusiast should think twice before getting on.

I like X-Flight more than S:UF at SFGAm, way more! I love this ride. I like the overbanks and the lift experience!
