I liked the ride and the layout is fun with a lot of side to side movement... it also has a nice setting on the side of the river...

First stand up I rode and first coaster wit an inversion I rode so I thought it was pretty cool. I liked it. It was rough around the corkscrew but I liked it.

I enjoyed both this and georgia scrotcher. If I ever become rich and have a themepark of my own I will get a stand-up coaster.

I am not a big fan of stand-ups. The whole bicycle seat thing does not feel to well. Overall it was a good layout, but a little short, I guess they were right in thinking that people can't take that much pain.

The park has done some great work on this coaster the past year and is running as good as opening year.

I actually like Vortex. It's a nice little stand-up coaster that isn't too rough if you're in the front row. Compared to the coasters of today, its nothing, but considering it was built in 1992, its really a nice, well designed, small coaster.

Similar to the Iron Wolf at SFGA, this ride is quite rough. One thing I am glad to see is that unlike some coaster companies, B&M has actually improved on their technology over the years to make better rides. I only recommend this ride to increase your coaster count, because otherwise it is not worth the headache I sustained on it.

I like Vortex reasonably well. It's not rough if you are in the first or second row. It's a well-designed coaster for such a small footprint, but it doesn't compare to newer coasters. It's worth a visit or two, but I never wait longer than 10 minutes to ride.

Vortex had some good work done the past year or two and isn't as rough, but the corkscrew is still rough as always.

It is a little rough though on us guys (the seat).

I have a few gripes about this ride.
1) It's far too short to be memorable.
2) I think that you should be legally married to that seat piece after the way it touches you. Certainly the most personal seat I've ever encountered.
3) My ears are always suffering after my head ricochets off of the restraints.
Other than those bad parts, the rest of the ride is highly mediocre.

This was an alright ride. The day I was there it toke them ten minutes to load ever train (they were running two) which meant once the ride was done you would sit on the ride for about 5-8 minutes. Very short ride but once you got out of the station (finally) it was good.
