This is truly one of the best B&M inverts, IMO. Carowinds has used the terrain and landscape to it's maximum potential for this ride!

This invert has a great and unique layout that has above average pacing and non-stop action. This is one of the better inverts I've been on, slightly lower in rank behind Talon and Alpengeist, which isn't a bad thing by any stretch.

I liked the layout and the air time hill.. at night the themeing is very nice. its not the best coaster in the world but its the best at PC and one of the better inverts i have been on.

Very awesome at night in back row, left seat, yellow train. That ride is top 10 material.

I enjoy most Inverts, but man, Top Gun is simply awesome. Its better than any other Invert that Ive been on so far, at least to me. The matching intensit and smoothness and awesome elements combine for one killer ride. 5/5

Only B&M invert I've been on but truely a one of a kind experience. Rides best in the back on the far left. Second best in the front on the far right.

Best coaster at Carowinds, what a great ride, I can only stand to sit in the front though, I like to see whats around me and what I am about to crash into. There was hardly a wait for it today too.

Most Underrated/Top 3 Invert
Amazing pacing, inversions, speed, smoothness... a Ten.
In the front you get the benefits of being close to the ground in the trenches and in the back, you get the awesome speed and whip over the loop.
Gotta love the Batwing that actually cuts under the midway of the South Gate Entrance into the mist and the awesome immelman loop. Plus no MCBR!

After riding about 8 B&M Inverts, Top Gun is still one of the best in my opinion. When Montu was running full speed it probably was my favorite, but TG might have edged it out now.

Top Gun: The Jet Coaster is one of the best inverted coasters out there. For such a short track length it really packs a great ride! By far the best ride at Carowinds and the only reason I come back more than once every year! It's a ride you can ride over and over again but not get tired of it.

(To me) once you ride in the front your spoiled and have to do it over and over and the middle feels like nothing. I havent rode in back yet. I've rode this 20+ and STILL I haven't rode the Red one...only Yellow.

Without a doubt, Top Gun: The Jet Coaster is the best ride at Carowinds, but still finds itself in my top 5 favorites. The first loop is enormous, the immelman is pulled off to perfection, the first drop - a great space drop - is thrilling, and the batwing is better than any other you'll find. One of the most truly underrated inverted coasters you'll find.
