More About This Ride
Features:
A drop right out of the station into a ravine, perpendicularly crossing the second drop of Phantom's Revenge.

History:
The Thunderbolt opened 3/27/68 as a major expansion of the Pippin coaster built in 1924 by John Miller. The first and last drops were retained. It was the first time that the middle of a coaster was completely redesigned.

This is a good coaster. I like it, I don't think it is as good as people say though. Jack Rabbit is the one that should get the attention Thunderbolt gets.

About as classic as it gets. Very fun ride with some ok airtime and good laterals. Smooth for the most part, but the valleys (especially the last) need some work.
