This ride was awesome, especially the last dive into the water.

To be a family indoor coaster, it's great. The hieght requirement is just 42 inches, so it allows alot of first-time coaster kids, and gives them thrills, just as much as teenagers and seniors alike. It's a decently long dark ride through cheesy scenes (that work quite well with Dollywood), about a burning town. After you get used to the nice slow pace along with the cool breeze, you take your first dive down a falling bridge, and back up, you start heading torwards a train (which is so cheap, it's comical, but is exactly why everybody loves this), and you take your second dive, and come back up, and immediately take a thrid, this time splashing some water. It's a good expierence, and although it may not be the reason you come, a visit to Dollywood isn't complete without a ride on the Fury.
The ride is also well themed, even though the charecthers and animations is nowhere near Universal Studios, it works for what it is.

I don't really think it's a coaster. It has a couple dips and that's about it. I was ok but the scenes were cheezy. They need to redo them.

This ride is an original to Dollywood. Redoing the scenes would be just plain strange! Altough it is slow, it has some cool effects and scenes. The best seat is in the front so you get to see all of the scenes happen. The dialogue is so funny... just like good old hillbilly Tennessee!!

The back seat on this was great. It was much better then I expected it to be. Even got a little airtime on the drops.

^Yes the back seat is actually the best seat on the train and yes it does give you some suprising air-time that the front doesn't. Basically if you ride the coaster ride it a couple times but make sure that you definetly ride in the back at least once.

The last drop is unannounced and unexpected.
If you ride in the Winter, don't ride in front. Take the back.

Blazing Fury is located in the upper section of Craftsmen's Valley in Dollywood.

It is wondeful, classic ride. It features fantastic theming. There really isn't a true story line but you can make one up when you go through it.

The main theme of the ride is a 1800's town on fire. During the ride you will pass various "part of the town" engulfed in flames and people trying to exscape and save their town.

There are a few water elements in the ride plus the big finale at the end of the ride.

Overall, it is a nice, fun ride that the whole family can enjoy. Familys have been enjoying this ride since 1978!

Four Stars? Are you kidding me? This ride is horrible; cheesy, boring, and lame. It needs a lot more help than simply updating the scenes. They should rip it out and build a better ride. I could overlook the cheesy scenes if it was actually followed by a decent ride, but it should be more than just a couple of bumps.
