Parts of Adventureland are an obviously cheap (read: REALLY CHEAP) knock-off of Disneyland's 'Main St. USA'. I should know since I grew up in S. CA. & went there twice a year until '88. The best thing about Adventureland is the Bierhoff (beer hall).
Tornado is a fun woodie with some good airtime (on hot days) otherwise you wonder if it will make it up second hill.
Dragon is Awsome if you are in the back car, but anywhere you sit it is too short a ride. Also the mini camel-humps over the water to the lift hill are annoying and toss you into the shoulder harness & back into the seat over & over. Very stupid element to any coaster.
The Outlaw, the newest coaster there is IMOP the best woodie of its size. Great curving first drop over queue, and lots of airtime and a couple 'headchoppers'.
The Underground is one of the stupidest "dark rides" ever built. The technical term is gravity coaster, but it is just like any other cheap dark ride with a long roller coaster train and two small lift hills. Cheap effects and lamer mannequin "animitronics".
Der Flitzer a mini Carnival type coaster with bobsled type cars is long gone as is Super Screamer. They have been replaced by lame midway type rides, which is so stupid. Its better to two crappy juniour coasters then a load of 'vomit launchers'.
Der Flitzer tried very hard to be 'alpine' in its theming, but that means a large bit of plywood cut and painted to look like mountains with one or two holes that the cars went in and out of.
Super Screamer was neither. It could be fun though, as the metal framework was so close to the cars at any time, and you could visibly see the supports shake as each car went by.
Terrible as a juniour coaster goes, but better by far then the crap the put in its place.
Adventureland is good for a couple hours anyway, but not like the 12 hour days I remember spending @ Disneyland.
Go on the three coasters as many times as you can stand then go home......
