Canobie is a great little park. I make a visit up at least once a summer. My first coaster ever was the Canobie Corkscrew! :-D

This is one of my favorite parks. Even though it may not have anything record breaking, it still has a great charm to it. They do all the little things right. The park is so beautiful and there is something there for everyone.

I love Canobie... They have a lot of nice rides and it's very nice to walk around. They need to work on their load times though...

Best Ride: Yankee Cannonball
Well, Canobie is my home park and I really like it (just look at my user name). It's got tons of great flats, good water rides, and a very good woodie. All the makings of a great old park.
Coasters- Yankee Cannonball (8 out of 10) is truely a stand-out woodie thanks to the smooth ride and good air it still gives after all these years. Sadly, the park doesn't have a good sidekick for the Yankee Cannonball. It's steel brothers aren't all that good. Corkscrew is the park's only inverting ride, but it's got headbanging and the Dragon Coaster is one of the best kiddie coasters out there, but that's not saying much.
Flat Rides- This is where Canobie excels. From modern day thrillers (Star Blaster and Xtreme Frisbee) to rare classics (Caterpillar and Antique Carousel), Canobie really has a great variety. DaVinci's (swings), Turkish Twist (rotor), and the Round-Up also stand-out as good rides. Only complaint is the lack of a looping flat.
Water Rides- Canobie has a great collection of these. The flume is definitely one of the best around thanks to its setting. The Boston Tea Party is definitely one of the better shoot-the-chutes out there thanks to the theming. Timber Splash is nothing incredible, but it's worth riding if lines are short (it's a rarity though).
Dark Rides- Mine of Lost Souls is a cool dark ride, though lines can be long. The Psycho Drome indoor scrambler is fun too.
Food- Canobie has excellent food. The Portofino has incredible pizza that's arguably the best I've had anywhere. Also, there's a snack stand in the Boston section that sells great fried dough too. The park's burgers aren't half bad either.
Atmosphere- Canobie really has a laid-back family atmosphere to it. It masterfully blends modern elements with classic traditions and really is a truely great park.
