I was actually pleasantly surprised by the original flagger. I knew it was an important park in the chain, but I really got the impression when I recently visited that it is truly one of their flagship parks (no pun intended).

I knew that this was the original six flags park, hence having the only name that made sense, and I definitely enjoyed this park. It must be one of the better six flags around. The Titan was by far the best roller coaster I have ever been on, but the line was horrendous for a 4 minute or so ride. As a matter of fact, the lines everywhere were bad, and I missed a good deal of the other rides as a result. Good park nonetheless.

Great rides here, including titan and mr. freeze. also the tallest freefall tower in the world (superman tower of power.) whenever i go there it is usually crowded though. i recommend getting one of the fastlane passes.

An awesome park but lines are a little to long and it's kinda crowded.

This is the park that started it all for me. It was my first park when I was five years old and I've been obsessed ever since. I've since moved away but I always manage to get down there at least every other year. It has changed a lot, but is still one of the better SF parks. It has a lot of history still living in it, like the log ride (first ever built), the mine train (first ever built), Shockwave (first back to back loops, and highest G's to date) the now rare parachutes, the first gen. free fall tower (Wildcatter) also goes way back and is one of the few left these days, the bobsleds are a park classic and family tradition, they have their ancient Trabant (Sombrero) the list goes on. The new addition of 9 flat rides for the park's recent anniversary help to make this place a total gem.

Great park! Awesome rides, friendly staff, and the Nightime atmosphere is great. I HIGHLY recommend riding Titan at night, its SWEET.

One complaint, it get EXTREMELY hot in the middle of the day. If your in a nearby hotel, just going in the morning, leave around 12, 12:30, eat lunch, take a swim at the hotel pool, and go back towards night. At night, the park empties, its cooler outside, walk-ons for Titan, Freeze, Batman, ect, and a cool atmosphere!
