BGW is indeed a noteworthy park, although I feel it gets more praise than it deserves. If you have already visited its Florida cousin, be prepared for a slight downgrade. (I'll take criticism from so many for saying that, but I think it's true.) Still, with two B&M's and Colonial Williamsburg close by, BGW makes a nice summer trip for any family.

This park, although containing few roller coasters, has good theming to counter balence the few roller coasters. And the few roller caosters it has, are good.

BGW has Big Bad Wolf, so it is obviously the greatest park on earth.

I actually hated this park.
Everything there is overated. The only ride there that impressed me was Alpengeist, but not enough to make me want to go back again.

BGW is awesome! The two days I went there were no lines, so I got to enjoy its excellent collection of roller coasters (AP is my #2 and Alpie is my #6). It also has excellent theming, landscaping, atmosphere, and food.

Four great coasters, great food, great shows, great rides, a beautiful train, a great staff, a beautiful park.. there is nothing to complain about other than the fact that its not 10 minutes away from me :(

I think this park is the best in VA..it beats the heck out of PKD. It has beautiful themeing, great rides, great food, awesome shows, and the customer service there is wonderful. I have never had to wait more than 20 mnutes to ride anything there ever, even on busy days becuase they try and move the lines as quickly as possilbe. I think the longest I have waited at all for anything there was 20 minutes to ride Apollo's Chariot and it was the newest ride there. Its a park i could easily spend two or three days in, just relaxing and taking in everything.

I agree with sfog on this one. Most the rides were overated, the theming is awesome though.

BGW is one of the nicest looking parks I have ever been to. The landscape is just so cool even if ...most... of the rides are not.

I have been to tampa's version and still this has become my favourite park I have ever visted. Nothing compares.

I love this park! they dont have many coasters but there is great theming,shows,food,and service. i think pkd has more roller coasters but the theming,scenery,and shows is way better at bgw.

Best park in the country. More than deserves to be mentioned along with the Magic Kingdom's and Islands of Adventure's of the world.

BGW is one of the best theme park out there and the coasters are great with excellent theming and the rides are ok.Overall I'll give this park a 9 out of 10 a awesome park.

I seriously doubt that there is a better themepark out there! It's impossible that there could be a better park! From the rides to the scenery, BGW has it all and more!

Although this park is overrated i find it to bge one of the best. As long as you dont expect this park to be better than all the parks in the world you should not be dissapointed. YOu have to look at all the small details that bgw has.

BGW has great rides, it's clean with nice employees, beautifully themed, and over all is just a great park that people love to come to over and over again.

BGE is an awesome park. Even when it's pouring rain and you're completely miserable, BGE is an awesome park.
Though Alpengeist isn't all it's cracked up to be, in my opinion, Big Bad Wolf and Apollo's Chariot are absolutely perfect.

I love this park. Great themeing and atmosphere. Very clean. They also have good ride crews, longest wait was something like 7 dispatches on Apollo's Chariot late in the day. Over all very nice park, I'd love to go back. Also Griffon will be a very nice addition to the park. It seems like it fits right in with what they have. I also think a woodie in the future would be awesome for the park.
