More About This Park
Notes:
Busch Gardens - Africa, one of Florida's most popular theme parks, offers the Southeastern US's fastest, largest, most nerve-jangling roller coasters, incongruously set in an interpretation of colonial-era Africa. A sedate monorail journey allows inspection of a variety of African wildlife, but by far the most popular of the twenty-odd rides is Gwazi , a double wooden roller coaster that pits the two against each other in a race to finish first. Other winners include the nerve-jangling Montu and the enormous Kumba . For those weary of the G forces, the water rides Stanley Falls and Congo River are a refreshing alternative on a hot afternoon.

What can I say. I have nothing but good things to say about this Busch park. The coasters will not disappoint, the animal exhibits will keep the young/old ones happy, and the overall look and feel of the park easily surpasses any park outside of Orlando or Anahiem. This isn't your regional Flags you know!

BGT is a great park for the whole family because it has a great wildlife zoo in the park. And I liked the park a lot because it has some great roller coasters.

With the addition of Sheikra in 2005, I think BGT will have the best line up of B&M coasters. A must visit park for anyone visiting Florida.

BGT makes for a great day for an enthusiast, with a nice selection of B&M's and some nice themeing. It entertains everyone, from people that watch Animal Planet 24/7 to the hardcore coaster enthusiast.

BGT is a good park. I like Kumba and Montu a lot but the park needs some work. The new B&M dive machine should help out a bit ;-)

Pretty good park overall. Good food, decent cleanliness, a nice set of coasters, ok flats (needs improvement there) and the bang for buck value is pretty good. Probably a 3.5/5, but Ill go with the 4/5.

This is a great park. I am a season passport member, and will be one as long as I can afford it. I want to get a job to work there. I also can not wait till the new coaster comes out. I give it 5 stars.

I'm a season passholder for both Busch Gardens and Sea World and I do like Busch Gardens a lot, despite the crowds. The last time we went we had a great time, all except for one ride. We noticed there were very few people waiting at the Python, so we got in line because we had never been on it. The ride was VIOLENT. It HURT. I'm pretty dam nhealthy and the only thing really "wrong" was I had had jaw surgery almost 10 years ago. This was the first rollercoaster that ever hurt my jaw. I thought I was going to need to go to their medical unit in the park. The restraints around your head (and the very little padding behind your head) cause your head to bounce back and forth in the restraints. There was no way to hold your body in a position so you weren't being thrown around so badly. Several other people were complaining as we got off the ride that it hurt as well. It's the only ride so far that I've found I HATED at Busch Gardens.

We are going back again next month for SheiKra - we saw it almost completed the last time we went. (We didn't know about it else we would have postponed our trip til it was open)

Great theming and selection of shops and rides but I HATED that you can't have bags in line! Ridiculous. I couldn't think of any reason you can't have one...

I loved the park. I was worried a bit that the lines would take forever, but I was surprised. The only thing that was bad when I went was they only had one train running on everything. Besides that, I loved it.
