History:
Story Land was opened in 1954 by Robert S. and Ruth T. Morrell. Based on classic fairy tales, the park has, under two generations of Morrell family ownership, grown from a tiny roadside attraction into one of New Hampshire’s most popular summer destinations. In June 2007 Story Land became part of a larger family with the sale of the Morrell Corporation and its Story Land children’s theme park to Kennywood Entertainment.
Notes:
Story Land is a family theme park, geared for the most part towards children ages 2 to 12. The park's rides are family sized so no one is left out. The parks clean grounds, family oriented rides, and Atmosphere also draws many of the local teens.
