This is a very clean park with very polite and helpful staff. We love it. The old time charm along with the street shows, crafters and a live working saloon... you cannot help but smile the whole day through. Fire In The Hole, an indoor coaster remains my favorite coaster. It is a lapbar coaster however, as you ride through and watch the story of the Baldknobbers as they plundered the Ozarks, it makes for an amusing ride with a surprise splash at the end. As for high end thrills you should definately go to Wildfire, this parks newest steel coaster. Your feet are dangling as it flips and turns until your stomach is turned inside out. This ride is not long, but makes up for it in the thrill. Thunderation is still a good coaster, but I have always been disapointed with the end result. Ride it and you will see what I mean, its a great drop, but thats the end. Runaway Ore Cart is for the kiddies. Adults can ride also, however, it jerks and jolts, so dont have a bad back if riding with your child. From what I hear, Buzzsaw Falls may not be at this park much longer. It was a sweet ride that went from a water boat to a steel coaster then to its final drop back into the water. It was fun to ride once but not worth the time in line. This park is great fun! Go if you haven't.

This is my 3rd favorite park. It is very much like a midwesten BGW. The atmosphere is great. Wildfire is a great B&M that a lot of people forget about. For 2005, SDC will be getting PowerKEG witch is looking like a very interesting S&S coaster. I will be making a trip back probably next year.

Just a great all around park...I was here when it was during their Christmas set up and it was so nice and with the addition of Powderkeg this park is only getting better. Great location as well.

It's been a while since I have went to Silver Dollar City but when I went in 2003 in was a very nice park. It has that down home feel and Southern Hospitality but in the Mid West. It was very clean and really fun. The Marvel Cave was very cool to get to walk through. I would definetly recomend going to this park.
