Sea World, at Sea Harbor Drive, near the intersection of I-4 and the Bee Line Expressway, the cream of Florida's sizable crop of marine parks, should not be missed; allocate a day to see it all . The big event is the Shamu Adventure show - beginning with a pre-show film attempting to justify the twenty minutes of tricks then performed by killer whales. The Wild Arctic complex, complete with artificial snow and ice, shows off beluga whales, walruses and a couple of claustrophobic-looking polar bears; the experience is topped off by a thrilling simulated helicopter flight through an Arctic blizzard. The park's first thrill ride, Journey to Atlantis , is part fantasy, part waterslide, part roller coaster, and has a sixty-foot drop. You will get drenched - by the ride and by other tourists who pay for the privilege of spraying you. With substantially less razzmatazz, plenty of smaller tanks and displays explain more than you need to know about the undersea world. Among the highlights, the Penguin Encounter attempts to re-create Antarctica with scores of waddling birds scampering over an iceberg; the occupants of the Dolphin Pool assert their advanced intellect by flapping their fins and soaking passersby; and Terrors of the Deep includes a walk through a glass-sided tunnel, offering the closest eye-contact you're ever likely to have with a shark and live to tell the tale.

If your just going to ride Kraken then I suggest getting a late entry pass, they start at 3:00 and are around 20 bucks off the price of a regular ticket and you will get plenty of ride time because the park closes at 10:00 and kraken is usually close to a walk on (on weekdays anyway). The thing is a capacity machine and for some reason not many people go to sea world for it, I have never waited more than 15 minuets for it. Its an amazing ride, number 5 on my top 10 coasters list and if your in the area I highly suggest going to ride it.
Oh I forgot about journy to atlantis...think splash mountain on roids.

This place may only have two major rides, but both of which are incredible. Kraken (not the membr, he should burn in hell) is one of my favorite coasters, and Atlantis is one of my favorite rides....period.

Kraken is a fantastic coaster and Journey to Atlantis is a good ride, but the rest of the park is no different than many other aquariums / aquatic parks across the country. It's also confusing to navigate and pretty lackluster as a park. Kraken makes the park worth visiting once, but the 53 dollar entrance fee is ridiculously high for what the park offers.

I like seaworld as a zoo but as a park its lacking.. they really need to add something nice.. even if its just a wheel or something.

Sea World is nice park with excellent theming and the show are great and the zoo is awesome a great park.Ill give this park a 8 out of 10.
