Lagoon is a good park. It has plenty of family rides and is getting a new family roller coaster for 2005. Lagoon has lots of kiddie rides, but it also has lots of great thrill rides for the teens and adults. It has a fairly good water park. The prices for food and entry are a bit high, but if you stay all day, it's worth it.

Lagoon sucks compared to six flags or other parks like that and the new ride for 2005 the bat is a suspended roller coaster which really sucks it was a waste of money its not even a minute long and it doesnt go fast at all if you sit in the front when you go down the first hill the front doesnt start going fast tell the front gets to the bottom of the hill IT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A F****N KIDDIE RIDE bur the spider is awsome and i get a season pass every year a worked there for 3 years and the last year they fired me cause they accused me of stealing 50 dollars cause i worked as a game operater where you handle money and i didnt steal 50 dollars i stole over 800 dollars over the last year i worked there lol and i cant work there anymore and if i could work there again i would still take money from there

Lagoon is a great amusement park to visit if you like small, intimate parks who cater to families and are willing to take the time to make sure every guest is having a great time. While this park does have a nice collection of rides, don't expect anything like Cedar Point or Six Flags. This is not a large park nor does it have large coasters. It does have a couple really good thrill rides that are really worth riding while you are there.

One of the great things about Lagoon is their employees. Lagoon does a great job of training their employees to be there for the guests. It's common for Lagoon's employees to go out of their way to help out any guest in need and if you have any issues they are always willing to listen.

Lagoon's collection of rides ranges from old classics including a 1920's wooden roller coaster and a 1900 carousel to new and fascinating rides like space shot / turbo drop tower combo and topscan. No matter your age or your likes you are bound to find a handful of rides that you just can't get enough of while on the park.

While Lagoon's coasters aren't the best, tallest, fastest, or longest you can still enjoy a great riding experience while at the park. Don't miss a chance to ride the Roller Coaster, a John Miller classic out and back built in 1921. This is a great wooden coaster and one that has been thrilling guests for 85 years! Also among Lagoon's coaster collection is an Anton Schwartzkopf classic double looping coaster and a Jet Star 2.

While Lagoon may not be your number one choice for an amusement park destination it still is a park that must be visited at least once!
