This park looks pretty cool. The only thing that would hold me back from going is the lack of "thrill" rides. It looks neat but I dont know if it would be worth a special trip.

If you find yourself in Western North Carolina, you’ve already been to the Biltmore House and lost too much money at the Cherokee Casino, The Ghost Town in the Sky can be a great way to kill a little time. I was really disappointed that the Cliffhanger Coaster is currently closed because it does not meet current safety requirements but I was told it should re-open soon (they are installing a new fence around the base of the track). But even without the coaster, the mountain views are great, the ski lift ride up to the park is fun, and the two second view you get at the top of the Geronimo Drop may be the best view of the Smokey Mountains you can get. If you find yourself in the area, I would recommend stopping by this park.
